Gel-Form
The Gel-Form is a Xallian technology that allows to cover animate and inanimate objects with a semi-stable gel-type liquid substance.
The Gel-Forms are used for the following needs:
- Securing Xallian bodies prior to the Xallian warm hibernation. Gel-Form becomes the carcass that provides liquids and oxygen to the body, as well as securing organs and skin to avoid cosmetic damage since hibernation requires increasing body heat and severe dehydration.
- Secuding Human bodies before hibernation.
- Creating carcass gel robots (available on the Nightsider and possibly on other Xallian carriers). To make a carcass robot work, an Inner Frame is used.
It is speculated that a Gel-Form can be used to cover entire Xallian ships, even of Carrier size, in order to repair them and rescue the crew. This had never been observed.
